How do I become a Model? |

Before joining the Sydney Model Agency, it is advisable to participate
in a model course at Sydney Model and Etiquette College where you learn
Choreographed Catwalk, the business side of modelling, what you need to know about go-sees,
castings and interviews, and you can participate in a Professional Photo Shoot, which can form
the basis of your portfolio.

How tall do I have to be, to be a Model?

You need to be at least 180 cm (510) to be a Catwalk Model, however,
there are more jobs in Photographic Shoots, Film and TV for those under 180 cm.

How much money will I earn as a Model? |
 |
This depends on the job. This could range between $500 and $10,000 per day, depending how
successful you are.

Do I need a Portfolio? |
 |
Yes, you will need an up-to-date Portfolio and a Composite Card before it is possible to
start working as a model. We can organise this for you at a reasonable cost to start your
career as a model.

How can I get Promotional Work? |
 |
Like modelling, you also need photos to gain promotional work. There is a lot of work in
this area but it does not pay as much as modelling work.

Who attend Sydney Model and Etiquette College Workshops? |
 |
All kinds of people from teenagers from 12 years of age to sporting identities and mature
age people. The Workshops are for people who represent Australia or their Company, those in
high school, university, college or the workforce or those who simply wish to update their image.

What do students aim to achieve? |

More confidence, better posture, knowing how to apply make-up, how to co-ordinate their wardrobe,
how to care for their skin, nails and hair, how to improve their speaking skills, how to be more
motivated and how to handle peer group pressures and gaining the edge in life.
